Multi-ethnic wedding in Fiesole

Sue and Nav. She is American and he is Indian. Brought together by the love they feel for each other, celebrated their wedding ceremony in the municipality of Fiesole with both a civil and Indian ceremony, followed by the talented wedding planner Francesca Wit. Every aspect of this beautiful wedding, which I was lucky enough to photograph, combined the Western / American traditions with Indian traditions. It was an encounter between two cultures united by the beauty of the Tuscan countryside. It was both unusual and exciting to photograph the Indian ritual where each family exchange flower garlands to welcome each other. In addition, rich in tradition and emotions was the pre-marital rituals where the couple prepare before they are united. It is not often that a wedding photographer has the chance to capture such a unique and varied wedding, and it was a pleasure to capture the colors and spontaneous expressions on the faces of the newlyweds and the guests of this special wedding.

Wedding in an agriturismo in Fiesole

The reception was held at the Podere di Saletta, not far from the center of Fiesole. In this agriturismo on the Tuscan hills, the simple and tasteful layout, created a family like atmosphere that reflected the couples character. Although in Tuscany, my camera lens crossed the borders to settle between India and the United States, which, for that one day, were housed in the heart of Fiesole and of the Tuscan hills. A truly golden opportunity for a wedding photographer like me.
