Professional Photographer in Tuscany


I’m an Italian Professional photographer based in Florence, Tuscany. I am 50 years old and I like cooking, the contact with raw materials, the smells, the flavours, the colours, the intersections of looks, the lights and the shadows, the Baroque art of Caravaggio, the photographs of Vincent Peters, Elliott Erwitt, Lindbergh, Greg Williams, Avedon, the music of Tom Waits … I’m married to a fantastic woman and I have two children, Arturo and Matilde, that I madly love. I love the emotional expression of life in all its forms, faces, reactions, charm and amazement and this strongly determines the overall style of the photos I shoot in the various situations in which I find myself.
   

I photograph in Florence (in Tuscany and Italy) for over 30 years

Specialized for more than 25 years in stage photography (theatre and cinema), since 2019, I have been the official photographer of the Teatro dell’Opera di Firenze, the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino. I find my highest expression in Editorial Reporter for exclusive events such as weddings since the wedding day is a concentration of emotions that occurs in the “here and now” as it does in theatre ; and as long as I get excited with every click, I will continue to do so. People turn to me certain that they will have an emotional and “true” story, made with discretion, that will last forever.

The link, for over twenty years, with the cultural association VENTI LUCENTI (by Manu Lalli), leader in Florence in the field of education, training and socio-cultural promotion through the theatre, gave me the opportunity to tread like actor, and to document as a stage photographer, the most important prose and lyrical theatres in Italy, especially in Florence, the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the Teatro Goldoni, the Teatro Verdi, the Teatro della Pergola, the Teatro Puccini, the Coccia theatre in Novara and many others.
