Romantic wedding at Palazzo Corsini in Florence

In the Florentine gardens, where each year the ‘Festival Artigianato e Palazzo’ takes place, the wedding reception of Federico and Federica’s took place. The setting for the religious ceremony was in the church of Valdibure on the hills of Pistoia. A romantic and suggestive exchange of vows at the church contrasted with the lively and musical reception at Palazzo Corsini, in the center of Florence. I had the pleasure of capturing both these moments, as well as the preparations of these two friendly Tuscan spouses.

Wedding reception in an ancient Florentine citrus house

Every small detail of this wedding was personally organised by the Wedding Planner, Monica Balli. Her style was visible in every corner of the reception, starting with the tables with which the rustic, old citrus house was decorated. The lively notes of DiNoto DJ-Domix, brought movement to the building, transforming it into a disco. Movement played a key role for this wedding and my photographs. The couple and their guests had a lot of fun during the day, of which I have captured the best moments. An exchange of smiles between the spouses, the glimmer of happiness in the guest’s eyes, the exciting exchange of rings in the church: all this and more entered my camera lens and in my heart as a photo-journalist.
