Wedding celebrations in a lovely agriturismo in Lucca

Tuscany is not just Florence and its surroundings. There are many beautiful places, such as Lucca, where Bede and Sarah celebrated their wedding. They celebrated a civil wedding at the local municipal and then another, symbolic ceremony was celebrated in a beautiful agritourism surrounded by nature. It is called La Pianella di San Martino in Freddana, in Pescaglia, in the province of Lucca. The villas of this farmhouse, where you can stay, have recently been renovated and are perfect for hosting a wedding. The large garden of La Pianella was the setting for this wonderful day: the newlyweds made everyone feel like family, and this family atmosphere was captured in my photographs, true, natural and exciting like the wedding I portrayed.

Quiet Tuscany wedding

Do not get me wrong when I talk about ‘quiet’ wedding: Bede and Sarah had a lot of fun on their wedding day and I with them. They wanted to celebrate their wedding far away from daily frenzy, and in this agriturismo they were able to realize this. The guests, family and friends were asked to sit together at one single large table, with the couple, as in a traditional family dinner. Known for their culinary ability, welcome and for making guests feel at home, Tzeela Rubinstein and Mauro Galigani from Catering Cooking in Toscana took care of the banquet.
